Sunny's Simple Toffee and Peanuts Matzo Bark

Ingredients

One 16-ounce box salted matzo crackers

16 ounces semisweet, milk or bittersweet chocolate chips, melted 

1 cup mini marshmallows 

1/2 cup toffee bits, such as Heath 

1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts 

Directions

  1. Place the crackers in one layer on a baking sheet lined with nonstick aluminum foil. Pour the chocolate over the crackers and spread to coat. Sprinkle with the marshmallows, toffee bits and peanuts. Refrigerate, uncovered, until set, about 1 hour.
  2. Use a knife to break into large shards. Serve at room temperature.

I don't know who wrote this recipe, but I'm guessing it wasn't Sunny Anderson.<br />None of the major Matzo brands offer a 16oz box - everything I found was either 10 or 11 ounces.<br />There is NO WAY that you can fit more than 5 Matzo (whole + broken) on a standard sheet tray.<br />That means you need 4 or 5 sheet trays if you want to use an entire box of Matzo.<br />The amount of chocolate chips is out of proportion with the other ingredients...<br />Either you need MORE peanuts, marshmallows, and toffee bits, OR you need less chocolate.<br />I guess I've learned my lesson about trusting anything from "The Kitchen".
