Ingredients
1 to 2 large, juicy lemons, peel and pith removed
1 medium Granny Smith apple, peeled and cored
2 romaine lettuce leaves
1/2 large cucumber, washed
1 cup loosely-packed hearty greens, such as spinach or kale
1 tablespoon chia seeds, optional
Directions
- Juice, in this order, the lemons, apples, lettuce, cucumber and greens, following your juicer's specific settings for each. Stir in the chia seeds if using and let soak for 5 minutes.
