This frozen drink is frosty, refreshing and far from syrupy or cloying. Just a little agave nectar sweetens the frozen fruit and a splash of smoky mezcal adds an interesting deep flavor to the bright berries.
Blend the frozen strawberries, tequila, agave, lime juice and some ice in a blender. Pour into 2 glasses; top each with 1/2 ounce mezcal. Garnish with a strawberry.
