Susan Vu

Susan has been a contributing recipe developer at Food Network for close to ten years, where she has brought to life everything from Melting Witches Bark to Vietnamese Cá Kho Tộ. Her recipes tend to be whimsical and playful with many nods to her Vietnamese-American heritage. With a career rooted in her love of eating that started off in a small college town in eastern Washington working as a dishwasher, to more than a decade in New York working as a food stylist on the set of fan-favorite shows such as Iron Chef America and Sandwich King, Susan is forever grateful that she gets to play with food as her job.

Experience: Former full-time staff food stylist at Food Network for close to five years, former Senior Culinary Manager at Buzzfeed Tasty, recipe developer for numerous cookbooks including New York Times Bestseller Exquisite Exandria: The Official Cookbook of Critical Role, culinary instructor at PCC Community Markets throughout the greater Seattle area.

Education: Graduate of Seattle Culinary Academy and Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business Management.
