There is no denying that planning a wedding is a lot of work. You must secure vendors, design invitations and organize a seating chart, to name a few (admittedly stressful) tasks. But there was one task my husband and I looked forward to in the months leading up to our wedding, and that was sitting down and adding a couple items to our registry each night. We’d peruse our favorite home websites and dream up what our future home could look like with the help of some generous gifts from our friends and family. While we built up an impressive arsenal of cocktail glassware, incredibly soft sheet sets and even added a beloved espresso machine to our kitchen, one item has continued to be one of our most-used gifts — and it almost didn’t make the list.

On a whim, we decided to add some nicer ice trays to our registry. They offered a good balance in price point, and our current freezerburn-prone plastic trays were simply not cutting it. Trusting the W&P brand, we opted to add a few of their Peak Silicone Everyday Ice Trays to the list. What seemed like an unexpected thing to register for at first now elevates everything from morning iced coffee and weekend cocktails to everyday glasses of water.

The Everyday trays are made of a high-quality, durable silicone and have 12 individually molded compartments, which offer more control when dispensing the cubes. The ice releases easily, so you don’t have to worry about cracking or twisting your tray to get them out. The cubes are also the ideal size; they fit just about any glass or water bottle and the shape ensures they stay frozen in cocktails, so they don't dilute your drink. Plus, the included lid means we can stack multiple trays on top of each other and ensure no outside odors are absorbed into the cubes.

Depending on your preference, W&P offers multiple ice tray designs, including a pebble ice tray, crushed ice tray and ice trays with long, thin cubes perfect for thinner water bottles or highball glasses. Regardless of shape, these premium silicone trays are a great addition to any kitchen, wishlist or wedding registry. Trust me!
